ANNIE TRAVIS

Annie Travis

My name is Annie Travis and I am a freelance designer with more than twenty years of experience designing packaging, accessories, and marketing collateral for dozens of the biggest brands and retail stores. I’ve worked remotely for the past ten years following corporate burnout. I spent the early part of my career climbing the corporate ladder within Les Wexner’s retail brands in Columbus, Ohio, and learning the ropes to start my own merchandising business in Los Angeles, California. Recently I’ve decided to step away from the stress of trying to fund and operate a startup company so I can dedicate my time to my family, friends, and boyfriend. I opted not to have children so I could pursue my dreams, but I’ve learned there is more to my life than being a valuable asset to employers or investors.

I love to spend my time designing, painting, writing, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. My work is most effective when I am at peace in my own space, working on my own time. I maintain weekly hours for a few regular clients and take on small branding projects for friends and family. This summer I hope to finish a few collections for my online store and introduce a fun murder mystery game that I started during Covid with my friend, Megan. I am also helping care for my dad who was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumor. He’s lost the ability to write and speak fluently but is now enjoying spending the remainder of his life creating abstract art.

Please contact me if you have a project you would like to discuss. My base hourly rate is $75/hour or I can establish a project rate for select clients.
